Kathy Bridgman and Wilderness Therapy

One little known fact about Kathy Bridgman is that she loves the outdoors. However, she doesn’t always find it easy to get outside, because she devotes herself so much of her time to her work at Alain Pinel Realtors as a real estate agent. Kathy Bridgman finds, though, that she is able to make up for not always being able to go outside for a hike or a jog by her involvement at Sky’s the Limit Fund, a local organization in the Bay Area of California.

Her position on the board of Sky’s the Limit Fund since 2012 shows just how devoted Kathy Bridgman is to her local community. Always kid friendly, she especially loves that she is able to support Sky’s the Limit Fund’s work with at-risk youth, helping to transform the lives of young people who find themselves in need of help. As a former teacher, Kathy Bridgman truly knows how important the outdoors can be for the nurture of children’s emotional health.

Kathy Bridgman knows that many urban youth cannot realize their full potential without support, which is why her work with Sky’s the Limit Fund is so instrumental. Her support of wilderness therapy programs to improve both the physical and emotional health of young people.

After becoming involved with Sky’s the Limit Fund in 2012, Kathy Bridgman got to know some of the youth who were being served by the organization. She especially loves talking with the young people being served by Sky’s the Limit Fund about the way the organization has helped them transform their own lives. Through her conversations with the young people she met there, she found that she herself had become more motivated to go outside and enjoy the outdoors. Kathy Bridgman also acknowledges that she herself has learned a lot about outdoor skills through her work with Sky’s the Limit Fund, proving that by helping others, one can also help themselves.
